Carolina Paschoalini

Tax Law

Experience: Practices in litigation and tax, customs and social security consulting, and has extensive experience before administrative and judicial ruling authorities. Carolina works with the processes involved with corporate reorganizations, together with mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence. She has extensive experience in assisting clients in the definition of structures for developing business in Brazil and abroad, including the application of special tax benefits and arrangements with the states and municipalities of the Brazilian Federation, as well as with tax consulting in general. Her career was built at renowned boutique tax law offices.

Academic background: Studying Accounting Sciences at the Foundation Institute of
Accounting, Actuarial and Financial Sciences (FIPECAFI); MBA in Tax Management at FIPECAFI; Specialization in Tax Law at the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law (IBDT); Graduated in Law at the University of São Paulo (USP).

Publications: Co-author of the article "Taxation of interest earned by non-residents in Brazil – Creditor and Debtor perspectives", published in the book International Tax Law – Tribute to Professor Alberto Xavier – Coordinators: Sérgio André Rocha and Heleno Torres (Quartier Latin, 2016). Co-author of the comments on Tax Procedural Law in the Doctrine, Processes and Procedures Collection – Coordinated by Professor Heleno Taveira Torres (RT, 2015).
