Leandro César dos Santos

Compliance Contractual and Corporate Law

Experience: Leandro works in the area of mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, commercial contracts, foreign investment and compliance. His focus has been on venture capital and private equity, and recently, he advised one of the largest startup accelerators in Latin America in an unprecedented partnership in the country. He has worked for other leading law firms, where he gained experience in designing and reviewing corporate integrity policies for multinational companies, as well as implementing compliance procedures for Brazilian and international anticorruption standards, with the FCPA and UKBA in particular.

Academic background: LL.M in Corporate Law from the Institute of Education and Research (INSPER); University Extension Course for Compliance Officers realized by the LEC (Legal, Ethics & Compliance); Graduated at the Mackenzie Presbyterian University.

Professional Activities: Participates as a guest at the meetings of the Institute of Applied Corporate Law (IDSA).

Publications: Author of the article, “The forum selection clause in international contracts and the
principle of the autonomy of will” in the book, “New CPC Effect and Effectiveness in Litigation”
published by Intelecto Editora in 2016.
